Original Appeal

This is Billy 4 month old Alsation Cross that was thrown over a six foot wall.

He is clean, obedient and very docile for a pup of his age, He is very friendly and gets on well with other dogs

This one has been rehomed to a couple who saw him out on a walk. It was love at first sight.

Original Appeal

This poor dog was found in someone's garden, she was starving to death and her collar, now removed has left gaping flesh. We do not know how anyone could treat an animal this way.

She had been tied up for so long, and yet still manages to wag her tail if you give her a pat. We were asked by Rita, to help this dog, as she had nowhere else to go. We have taken this dog to Amber Lodge Kennels, as we know under Laurence's and Elaine's care she will be brought back to health. When she is back to full health, we will be looking for a home for her.

She has a lovely nature, and will make someone a very loyal pet. If you would like to adopt me, please contact us, although it will be a few weeks before I will be fit enough to leave the kennels. Animal Aid will be paying for her stay in the kennels and for any treatment required.

Update

Lady is doing fine, she has almost doubled her bodyweight, and her neck is healing up well. She is such a friendly, loving dog, Can some kind person give her a home

Miloh

Original Appeal

He is about 12 weeks old now, when we picked him up he was starving and had been dumped by a bin. After a bad start in life he is now back to good health. He is a very loving puppy, who just likes to be cuddled. He has a very nice nature and is very intelligent. Sits to comand already. He gets on well with other dogs, and would love someone to give him a good home.

Original Appeal

Judy (black and tan) and Shani (tan) are two adorable pedigree miniature daschunds. They are looking for a loving home. Their owner is having to relocate back to the UK and it is impossible for them to go with her. They are very affectionate and clean house dogs and, of course, are fully house trained. They do not need very much exercise at all and are happy to spend their days just playing together.

Original Appeal

Jade was found living on the streets, she also is a very loving good tempered girl. While she has been at the kennels she has become best friends with Lady. She loves people and loves to be loved. Jade would love someone to care for her.

Original Appeal

LITTLE LULU is a small 5 month old female, she was living on the streets with another little dog that had been injured. Lulu is mainly black with tan areas.

Lulu is very clean in the house and gets on well with other dogs and cats. She is a very gentle dog who needs lots of tender care.

My name is Paco

Paco is a pedigree Samoyed who was rescued from a home where he had been neglected for years. Having no covered shelter, no fresh food or water, only weekly top ups.

This loving dog was seriously ill, but is now fully recovered. He is very good with other dogs and loves people.

Animal Aid have paid for all medical expenses and he is neutered and has had all injections.

Paco has been re homed together with another Samoyed called Snowy, who he met at the kennels. They became good friends. The new owners decided not to split them up and took both of them

My Name is Bamboo I was found wandering the streets, my owner had lost me, I am chipped but when my owner was notified I had been found, I had already been replaced and was no longer wanted.

My Name is Sasha. I was abandoned in Quesada. Animal Aid took me in and I was being fostered. I am a very lively, loving dog.

I am about 18months old.

Special Bambi Appeal to raise 1,200 euros -

Bambi

The Original Appeal

This little dog was found abandoned as a puppy somewhere in Murcia, the lady who rescued him brought him back to Quesada where she lived and looked after him in his early puppy stage. It became evident that Bambi had a medical problem as he kept falling over, as you can see he has long spindly legs. The lady was moving away from Quesada and as another home could not be found for him she took him to Rita’s to be put to sleep. Rita does not put animals to sleep unless it is the only solution, and she thought in this case, this little dog could be helped. Bambi has lived in a cast for two months, cared for day and night by Rita. Rita has found a veterinary surgeon in Switzerland who can operate and alleviate Bambi’s symptoms. The cost of Bambi’s treatment is going to be approximately 1200 Euro’s If you can help us raise this money in anyway, remember every Euro counts. Thank You

The Result of the Appeal

Within a few days of the appeal donations for Bambi came rolling in. Within 2 weeks the complete 1,200 euros was raised. Bambi was immediately taken to Switzerland for her operation which was successful.

She was there for 2 weeks and was accompanied by 2 Swiss ladies at their own expense. Bambi is now with Rita the Vet in Quesada getting 24 hour attention and the prognosis is good. She has to be gently restrained for 3 - 4 weeks then whe will undergo rehabilitation little and often.

We are pleased to report that she is now walking a little and is now able to stand to go to the toilet. Previously she was unable to stand to go to the toilet and just used to collapse when doing this.

SAVED

This German Shepherd was saved from a terrible skin disease, thanks to Animal Aid, and to you the people who support our cause.

His skin was literally falling away from his body.

He was bleeding where he was touched.

It took many months and lots of care and veterinary treatment.

Eventually, he recovered and has become a caring, loving dog just waiting for a caring and loving home.

Thanks to some kind volunteers Betsy has now been rehomed to Daya Vieja with a loving family and is enjoying the new attention and love she is receiving.

Quick Rehomes

We were also extremely successful in rehoming two dogs BEFORE we could get them onto the website.

They were a lovely little brown dog, called Lulu, who was found wandering the streets, she is now happy with her new owner. Also a little black and white dog, who was being fostered has now been permanently re homed.
